I actually watched the news story about me tonight!!! :) In the past, I have never been able to watch myself on video (not even my contest performances.....no kidding). I am way too critical of myself.....but I forced myself to watch the special on Z21 tonight. I have to say that Victoria Adelus did an incredible job on it! She spent SO much time with me, interviewing me, video taping, and researching on what I do. She really captured the whole process that I go through to get ready for a contest. Thank you Victoria for all your hard work!!! You made all my hard work look good....LOL :)

The count down is on for the BILL PEARL CLASSIC next weekend!!!! We are holding our last posing class tomorrow for all our Central Oregon Bodybuilding Assoc athletes. I am SO proud of my girls- they have really worked hard these last 3 months! I'm telling everyone that they should go to this contest- support our local athletes!!! This contest is going to be a blast, and it is being MC'd by the morning show guys from the PEAK 104.1. They have great guest posers who will not disappoint!!!! One of them is my bestest friend Michelle Mayberry who is sub-guest posing for me....she will definitely impress everyone.

Well, I am off to bed....I had to work my mandatory night call last night at the hospital and didn't get into bed until 2:30am (then up at 8am to train clients). So I am a tad bit tired :) Train hard everyone- no excuses! Love ya,

Tami

EMERALD CUP PICTURES!!!!!!! After a fun filled weekend, I am SO exhausted- but it was a total blast! I worked the Labrada booth Friday and Saturday (morning and night shows) with my good friend Jimmy Galindo from Labrada. I can always count on him to keep me laughing and having a great time....Life is NEVER boring with Jimmy around :)

I have included a few pictures for you guys, I have more to include when I have more time. These are some of my favs- Me and Klubo with Victor Martinez comparing biceps...LOL, and one of my friends Karen Tinker and I "having a little gun show...." LOL. The other pics are of Jimmy and I.

I am still dealing with all of the post contest depression stuff....it is so hard to watch all your hard work (that it took 12 weeks to take off)- go away in the time frame of 2 weeks!!! I know that I have to put on more muscle- so I can't stay that lean....it's not livable. It's just hard......I am still trying to prepare all of my meals the night before and keep them in the fridge. I would just like to get some of this extra edema off of my body! I am a big puff ball right now- I can't wear my rings, and my tennis shoes are too tight! The rebound water weight gain is terrible this time for some reason....It should work itself out in the next week- meanwhile- I am going to keep training. That always makes me feel better :)

Train hard- no excuses! Love ya,

Tami

I am a tilapia cookin' fool tonight......... :) I thought I would write you all a note while I am cooking all my food for my trip! I did my first coat of tan tonight, and Oh my God, I forgot how great you look after first coat....ha ha ha. I weighed in at 121lbs this morning....right where I wanted to be!!!! I was super vascular during my lifting tonight- I carbed up all day today- and I will be low carb during flying tomorrow- then low carb on Friday. It's so funny at this stage of the game- the last 12 weeks were all about getting every ounce of fat off my body---now the game becomes all about water at this point.....I am really drying out SO much better this time. Since I was lean enough- we just kept my diet exactly the same as it has been for the last 2 weeks. I am just changing the amount of water I am consuming each day. This has been the most pleasant week of contest I have ever had!!!!

I ran both routines tonight....and they were super high energy!!! SO much fun! My costume is super cute, and my daughter gave me the most adorable compliment....she said, "mommy, you know your black outfit?......It makes your butt look really tiny." God, I love her.....

Wherever the judges place me.....I will be just fine. I know in my heart that this is the best that I have ever come into a contest.....so what happens....happens. I am thrilled with the results of my 12 weeks of dieting! I hope this takes some of the pressure off of me this weekend- and allows me to enjoy the experience more and have a ton of fun! I am rooming with my best bud Michelle Mayberry, and she always brings a laptop- so I will try to write a blog entry after pre-judging if I can:)Well, wish me luck flying tomorrow.....train hard- no excuses! Love ya,

Tami

Quick update before I run off to bed.....I am training my butt off....literally! I am now down to 122lbs, really starting to cut up more than I ever have before- it is so exciting! It's like waking up to a different body every morning :) I weigh exactly what I did for NY last year, but I am 3/4 of an inch smaller in all my lower body measurements :) (and my shoulders have stayed the same measurement! yeah!) I am 5 lbs lighter than I was for the Europa last year, but have maintained my same shoulder measurements. So, I am hoping that I bring a really balanced and tight physique into this contest. No matter what happens- this is the BEST I have looked since turning pro- so whatever the judges decide- I will be very excited and proud of the job I have done:)

I have to say a HUGE thank you to my nutritionist Pete and his wife Apple with CONSTRUCTION ZONE. They have supported me through every step of my contest prep this time- always encouraging me, no matter how grouchy, tired, depressed, or crazy I got! Thanks for always being there right when I needed you.....you're the best!

Another thank you to my suit designer Angel Rutter with SET-N-STONE. She has designed all of my suits and fitness costume from the ground up! You rock my friend- can't wait to show the world my beautiful suits! I only hope I can do them justice....

I head to NY on Thursday, and compete on Saturday!!!!! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to ease up on my diet for a while! I just want to eat healthy, and not measure anything for a while :) I MISS OATMEAL!!!!!

FYI: the routine is rockin! But I have developed a very bruised butt from my routine (because I don't have my normal cushion...hee hee hee). I have also suddenly developed a painful right wrist and right shoulder. I haven't had ANY aches or pains up until this last week!!!! I thought I was going to get away with no injuries this time....guess I was wrong! Oh well, it's all part of the game:)

Off to bed with my sorry behind.....I have to work at the hospital tomorrow. Train hard everybody- no excuses! Love ya,

Tami
