Update Time!!! I had a total blast at Tanji's contest last weekend (The Vancouver Natural). There were fewer contestants this year- but the QUALITY of contestants was not down in the least! I saw some really great fitness and figure girls :) My bestest friend Michelle Mayberry was the guest poser- and did her adorable "Gilligan's Island" routine- which rocked! She is so strong- I love watching her! She and I ran our routines for all our friends on Friday night. I was totally jacked because I ran it FULL out-with high energy- while being carb depleted and 45 minutes past my meal time.....it felt SO good! Tanji and I went through it the next day- piece by piece- and made some minor changes to perfect it. As always, I love having input from Tanji- she is such an inspiration to me.....
I also got to hang out with my pals Kristi Tauti, Michelle Anderson, Trish Stevens, and Allison Malone.....I love my girls, and I totally don't realize how much I miss them until I get to see them :)
Update on me....I am down to 124# (yeah!!!), I have lost 1/2 an inch on all my butt and thigh measurements each week for the last 2 weeks!!! I lost 3 lbs this last weekend alone (mostly water).....all my clients walked in today and were pretty shocked by how lean I am getting. (which is a good sign- when they start saying I am "too thin" that means that I am almost ready for contest....LOL) I was able to practice posing in front of my nutritionist Pete from construction zone. He said that I am right on track and that this is the best I have ever looked :) So, now I am just trying to stay on track and not make any mistakes in this last 2 weeks :) Well, off to bed with my tired butt......Train Hard- no excuses!!!!
