Time to update ya'all :) I officially started my contest diet for the NY Pro Fitness April 12, 2008! I have been eating pretty darn clean because of my guest appearance- so it's not really that hard for me at this point :) I haven't gotten an official body comp done yet, but I will keep you all informed of my progress as I go. My current weight is 133, and my measurements are my typical 12 to 14 weeks out stage.
I finished choreographing my routine today, and it is SO much fun! When I get it down.......look out world! This routine has so much of my own personality in it :) I was at gymnastics tonight, and ran the entire thing (minus tumbling) about 10 times through. (The reason I was not doing the tumbling in it, was because I was exhausted....and that's when you get hurt! Ha ha ha Do I sound like someone who has learned from experience? LOL

My son got his cast off....but has pretty severe radial/ ulnar nerve damage which is going to take about 6 to 8 months to regenerate.........which is a total bummer- but what can you do? You have to accept things and move on...it's not forever! Plus, he's beginning to be quite the little right hander! He will definitely be able to write equally well with both hands :)

Well, I better get going....lots of meals to cook, and I have to get up at 5am to do cardio before work :) Take care everyone. Train hard- no excuses! Love ya,

Tami

I've got great news!!!! My biopsy results came back from my skin cancer surgery- and I AM CLEAR!!! They found clean borders- which means: the cancer has not spread!

I received the phone call from my dermatologist today....wow, what a great feeling! Now I have to go in every 3 months for the next year, to make sure that I have no new cancer sites....My incision is healing nicely- and I get to go back to gymnastics tomorrow! Time for a good ass kicking :) I have missed tumbling SO much. So, that means that I will be so sore on Thursday- that I will feel like I'm coming down with the flu- ha ha ha. You know I love it.....sick, sick, sick ;)

I'm off to bed- just had to give you all the good news! Train hard- no excuses! Love ya,

Tami

As you can see.....I had a great weekend!!! I was asked to appear at the Max Muscle Clackamas grand opening. Along with another special guest....Jay Cutler! (Two time Mr Olympia....) I must say that Jay is an all around great guy. He is so down to earth, and truly appreciates all of his fans that come to see him in person. Most pros charge for ALL signed pictures- but Jay gives them free to kids that come to his signings. The very first person in line on Saturday was a little 11 year old girl named Kiley...she was so adorable as she approached Jay for his autograph- he simply towered over her- but he talked with her so quietly- she actually posed for a picture with him :)

I have to say a HUGE thank you to the owners of the store- Larry and Dominic (They are the two that are posing with me in the top picture). I felt so welcomed and respected during this event....I can't begin to tell you how much that meant to me. I must also thank my little "wardrobe" girl BreaAnn who hooked me up with my pink max muscle shirt that I am wearing in the pictures :) (She also made the hot little "alterations" to my shirt too...LOL)

Another HUGE thank you: One of my clients, her fiance, and her son traveled all the way from Central Oregon to Clackamas to see me!!! (and maybe to see Jay too...hee hee hee) I love them dearly- and it warmed my heart to see them that day. K, B, and A- you guys totally rock!!! (I didn't ask them if I could name them....so I'm not gonna :)

As for my melanoma.....I haven't received word back about my final biopsy report yet. I will keep you all posted on that! A big thank you goes out to all my friends, clients, and family for all their well wishes and prayers! I don't know what I would do without you!

Oh, and just a little side note......I ate at Olive Garden on Saturday!!!!!!!!! Oh my God- we have to get one in Central Oregon! EVERY cheat meal would be there! I try to always hit Olive Garden at least once while I am dieting for a contest....I am a tiramisu FANATIC :)

Well everyone, that's all for tonight. Train hard- no excuses! Love ya,

Tami
