Happy Veterans Day......I hope everyone has said a little prayer today for all of our boys and girls over in Iraq (well really, all over the Middle East)......and especially for the families who have lost loved ones over the last 6 years.

Yesterday would have been my dear friend Brenda's 33rd birthday......we lost her in a car accident when we were 19. It's strange how she is never far from my mind......but it is so "real" to me on her birthday.....I always think about what she would have been like now. She was so vibrant and full of life.....always the life of the party....wink wink. Sure miss her......

Anyway, on a lighter note.......I went to gymnastics tonight. I had a total blast! I took my daughter with me to watch.....(usually moms go to watch their daughters- my daughter went to watch her mom:) I had to laugh at the irony of that! My coach found out that she was there watching and he made her come and do class with me! She was on cloud nine the entire night....needless to say- by the end of class- we had her signed up, and she bought a big girl leotard to wear at the next class.......LOL! She thinks her mom is pretty dang cool right now......which I am going to revel in! I know at some point in the next 3 years- she will realize that she is supposed to hate me....LOL. So, until that happens- she is still my little shadow:)

I threw a roundoff layout tonight and landed it perfectly! Things seem to be coming back to me fairly easily......hopefully my old body will just hang in there! Well, I am really beat from class.....so off to bed I go! Train hard- no excuses! Love ya,
