Hello everyone!!!!! So much to tell you:) It has been a difficult 4 weeks......In mid January, I got a severe case of the Norovirus- (we think) which is a horrible stomach flu like virus. I literally went 5 days without eating! (The entire time, I am thinking- "oh my God! I am burning up all my hard earned muscle!") If it were not for Ritz crackers and sipping on hot tea- I would have died! I lost about 6 lbs in that five days.....then it took another 5 days before I could get back to my pre-contest diet. Everything made me nauseous. But, I survived that and started training hard again for the NY Pro. Then, this past Sunday- I started with the sore throat, fever, and back pain (like someone was sucker punching me in the back). I had to call in sick to work on Monday and Tuesday.......which I hate using my vacation time for sick call!!! Anyway, its good that I stayed home, because my daughter has had a fever of 103 or better since last night. Motrin only brings her temp down to about 101-102 degrees. At the moment, she is moaning in her sleep on the floor beside my desk. She says she is dizzy if she lays anywhere but the floor......I am about 2 seconds away from taking her to the ER. Of course, that usually happens at 1am for us, so I'll be ready:)

Training was going great till all of this happened. I was calipered about 10 days ago, and was 8%bf at 128.5lbs, so I am right where I should be. But I still feel like my butt and thighs are carrying way too much:) Typical woman right???? I made the decision that I am going to use my routine that I won nationals with (for my guest posings and the NY Pro Fitness). I listened to the music last week, and it just felt like "coming home". I love that mix....so I am going to make a few " improvements" and it should be good to go! My suits should arrive from Christine Marsh in the next few weeks, I have already ordered all of my rhinestones for them- they are beautiful! I spent almost $300.00 for the rhinestones alone! I know I have way more than I will need, but I hate to get into it, and not have enough of one stone or another. I love doing my own stone work- it makes me feel so crafty:)

Well, I must go, my little sicky is waking up.....I am going to try to convince her to eat some toast:) I promise to be better about writing.....it is very helpful in my training! It keeps things in perspective for me:) Train hard, no excuses!!! (Except if you're sick...lol)
