Yes, I know its 12:30am!!!! I have had a sudden burst of energy tonight for some reason.....I have been practicing strength moves in the living room while watching Vh1's 20 greatest videos of the 80's!!!! It makes me feel so young, and so old, all at the same time....hee hee hee. I forget how music from your childhood holds SO many memories....good and bad:) You know you are a child of the 80's/ 90's if you head banged to Metallica's "Enter Sand Man" till your neck wouldn't work anymore:) (No joke, we really did.....) Or, if you danced to "Every Rose has its Thorn" with your junior high boyfriend.....(it was our song dammit!) Or, if you thought you were such a "bad girl" if you listened to Nine Inch Nails....right Tonya?:) Just like we made fun of our parents....so our children will make fun of us:) It is the way of the world! I came to grips with it long ago....lol. Well, enough of this 80's flash back- you probably all think I am crazy huh? I am, so get over it....:)

Training is going great!! I am at 9% bodyfat, 129#, 117.5 # of lean muscle (hopefully I can keep it!) I go to my DJ tomorrow to get my music cut for my 45 second routine. I have choreographed most of it, and it is a blast! I am ordering new suits from Christine Marsh....and I still need to order my cat suit from Jagware soon. So much to do, and only 13 weeks to do it in! There is never enough time or money for this competition stuff!! I should probably go to bed- goodnight everyone. Actually, good morning everyone! Have a great day, train hard, no excuses! Love ya,

Tami

Hi Tami-

Reading your journal is really inspiring!!! I am training for the Ironman right now. I competed last year but didn't place - I got too skinny. I am 5'8 and weighed in at 128. Needless to say, I gained some weight and muscle and am hoping to come in about 8-10 pounds heavier this year. My results are coming a lot slower this year, although I have a great trainer who I trust, I worry about having more muscle (weighing more) but getting lean enough. Seems like everything happened a lot faster last year. Do you have any advice for me?
