I just got home from my 10 day stay on the Oregon Coast!!! We took our toy hauler and all our 4-wheelers to the Florence sand dunes.....it was a total blast! The kids rode and rode all day, every day. I had more fun watching them improve with each passing day:) I ran in the sand, and hiked sand dunes for my cardio (fun fun). I did really well on my diet up until the last 3 days of my vacation.....I just thought to myself "this is my vacation, I deserve a little break!" So, I ate 1/2 a bag of tootsie rolls, felt like crap, and now I am happily back on my program:) The water flushed off pretty quickly....no harm, no foul:) Needless to say, I enjoyed myself...hee hee hee. I have been working on my new routine so hard the last 2 days. I only have 4 weeks until my first guest posing!!!!!

While in Florence, I had the opportunity to visit my friend Vicki's gym (Vic's power house). I had so much fun working out with her....(thank you my friend, for all your generosity:). She is training for the Emerald Cup 07 (which she looks like, will be a good show for her:) The girl's got some guns now!!!!

I went school clothes shopping with my kids today......if you have never been shopping with an opionated 8 year old, who thinks she knows everything......DON'T!! I just stood back, tried not to argue (because it is pointless), and just vetoed anything I thought made her look like a pussy cat doll (her favorite music group). If it looked like it belonged on a 16 year old- she loved it! I am trying really hard to keep her a "kid" as long as possible:) My son on the other hand, would say "ok" to whatever he tried on...(whether it fit or not). He just really could care less about his clothes (unless they are camoflage- then they totally rock!) Well, I will quit boring you with this stuff. I must go to bed- it is a busy training day tomorrow, and it is a cheat meal night!!! I think DQ sounds good- a nice cheeseburger, fries, and a blizzard! I'll let you know how it goes.....ha ha ha:) Take care everyone, train hard= no excuses! Love ya,

Tami

Today is my 2 cheat meal day!!! I feel like a total slug right now......:) "Step away from the Oreo's" should be my mantra. Let me take you on a little tour of what I ate today......First cheat meal: bacon cheeseburger with fries and a diet pepsi (Diet you ask? Yes, that extra sugar really makes a difference....ha ha) Cheat meal number two: meat loaf, corn bread, and a sh#* load of oreo cookies. I need a shirt that says, "I am dieting....for their safety, please keep all oreos at a distance of 30 feet." So, now I sit here at my computer with a bloated gut and happy heart:) It is sad, but Oreos make me happy:)

I spent most of the day shopping for school supplies/clothes with my children.....they are lucky to be alive. I am beginning to think that school uniforms are a pretty damn good idea....and whoever thought them up must be a mom:) I had to laugh tonight when my husband asked me, "do our children really go through 3 boxes of kleenex (each) in a school year?" Then he says, "then they must sneeze a lot more at school, because a box lasts them all year at home!" Isn't it funny, how men notice those things that we women totally don't even question?

My routine is going great! It is totally kicking my butt though.....It has so many dance moves that I have never done before. I have found muscles that I never knew I had:) I can only perform it in sections right now....I have to get my conditioning a lot better!!! It is very fun to perform, hopefully the audiences will like it:)

Have I told you all about my puppies? My jack russell had puppies 4 weeks ago, and they are becoming holy terrors now!!! They have their "doggy condo" in the kitchen, and we take them out alot and let them climb all over us....the kids are in heaven! They all have really good homes waiting for them, so it will be easy to let them go:)

Well, I must go to bed, and sleep off my oreos...hee hee hee. Train hard, no excuses! For my girls.....only 7 weeks until the Wenatchee show! Tick tock, tick tock! Love you guys!
