I survived Disneyland!!!! We got in last night at 9pm....We had a total blast! We successfully kept the entire trip a secret from the kids until we drove into the airport to leave. As we pull into the airport parking lot, I had the video camera on them, and when they asked "why are we here?" I answered "we are getting on a plane this morning and flying to Disneyland!" They sat in silent shock for about 5 minutes.....I could only giggle watching them:) They still didn't believe we were really going to Disneyland, (even after getting on the plane). It was a whirlwind trip- we didn't stop the entire time. I ate anything and everything...which my kids love (they always say "we love it when mommy is normal" .....ha ha ha) I'm not too worried because I think I walked the equivalent of a marathon:) I do have to say, that the combination of hot weather, too little water intake, flying, and eating junk food made me puff up like a toad.....after 2 days- I had no cuts in my arms and my abs were non existent (no joke!). I just quit looking in the mirror and enjoyed spending time with my family:) I will try to post some good pics in my gallery section soon.
I must say that I want to kiss whoever thought up the Dulce Delight Dazzler at Haagen Daas. If you've never had one of these little beauties.....let me enlighten you...... They are made with caramel ice cream, sliced bananas, whip cream, and hot caramel drizzled over the top....oh my GOD! They are approximately 900 calories each (no kidding), I couldn't even talk while eating it.....I had to savor every single gooey drop! (I have written an entire paragraph about ice cream! That is pathetic:)
I still can't get over how much everything cost....the four of us each got an ice cream cone (yes, I know....more ice cream), it cost us $23!!!!! Insane!
I am officially starting to choreograph my new PRO routine!!! I have agreed to guest pose at the Wenatchee show in September, and the Seven Feathers show in October.....so then I can try out my new routine before Sacramento in November. My new routine theme is.......(you didn't really think I would tell you did you?) It's a surprise:) Well, tomorrow is a work day, so I must get to bed. Good night everyone, remember: Train hard, no excuses! Talk to you soon.
